FY2027 Budget Signals — where health-IT money is moving

Deadlines tell you when money is at risk. This tells you where it’s flowing. FY2026 enacted → FY2027 request, straight from the congressional budget justifications. A pursuit riding a growing account is a stronger opening than one riding contract size alone. Dollars in millions.

How to use this page

For each upcoming deadline, ask three questions about your pipeline:

  1. Is the funding source authorized through this deadline? If your pursuit depends on FY27 new starts and FY27 isn't enacted by Sept 30, that pursuit slips.
  2. Is there a task-order alternative on an existing IDIQ? TOs against existing vehicles obligate against the parent IDIQ ceiling and don't require new appropriations action.
  3. What's your CR-scenario timing? If the agency falls under CR, expect 30–90 days of restricted spending. Pre-position your re-engagement plan now, not in October.
