Why It Matters
FEHRM runs the Joint HIE and coordinates EHR configuration, standards, and interoperability across federal agencies. It is the connective tissue between DoD's MHS GENESIS and VA's Oracle Health deployment. FEHRM ensures that the shared EHR platform works as a single system, not two separate implementations.
