The DoD's electronic health record, built on Oracle Health (formerly Cerner). Deployed across military hospitals and clinics.
Why It Matters
The single largest health IT deployment in federal history. MHS GENESIS replaced AHLTA and is now the standard EHR at DoD MTFs. The same underlying platform (Oracle Health) is being deployed at VA as part of the EHR modernization program, though the VA deployment has faced persistent challenges. FEHRM coordinates the shared configuration.
