Why It Matters

VistA is one of the most successful government-built IT systems in history. It powered VA healthcare for decades and was widely adopted internationally. Being replaced by Oracle Health, but still running at most VA sites. The transition from VistA to Oracle Health is one of the most complex health IT migrations ever attempted.
