Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. Multi-agency contract vehicles that any federal agency can use to buy IT products and services.
Why It Matters
The big ones: CIO-SP4 (NITAAC), SEWP (NASA), Alliant 3 (GSA). Getting on a GWAC is a major business development milestone because it opens the door to task orders from across the government. GWACs reduce procurement friction for agencies and increase market access for contractors.
