The VA's electronic health record modernization program, now under Oracle Health (formerly Cerner).
Why It Matters
CCN routes veteran care to private providers when VA can't deliver. The FY2027 Medical Community Care account is $56.2 billion (+17%) and now represents about 44% of all VA care delivery. CCN Next Gen (36C10G26R0003) introduces value-based payments and utilization management for the first time — neither exists in the current contract. Proposals due April 17, 2026.
