On June 9, 2026, NITAAC published notice that the HHS Senior Procurement Executive, acting under EO 14240 and OMB M-25-31, sunsets ALL NITAAC GWACs (CIO-SP3, CIO-SP3 Small Business, CIO-CS) on October 29, 2026: that is the last day to award new orders. Orders awarded on or after June 8, 2026 cannot run past December 31, 2028, and all NITAAC program functions cease that day. Future requirements move to GSA vehicles. There is no successor: CIO-SP4 was cancelled via a January 30, 2026 court filing (trade press; the vehicle is verifiably gone from the official portfolio). If you hold CIO-SP3 seats, your recompete path is Alliant 3, Polaris, or MAS IT.
